Dr. Fatimah Ahmed says:“Gosson was admitted to the hospital on June 19, and we started treating her from the first day”. “When she entered, she was suffering from severe malnutrition, and we started the treatment plan by fighting the infection and the complications she was suffering from, such as diarrhea and chest infections, until she reached the stage of stability.”
“The little girl, Gosson, is still not ready to leave the hospital, as she is still vulnerable to infection, and her weight is still low.” Dr. Fatimah Ahmed said.
Wardah Awad, 25 years old, with her child Gosson Ibrahim, aged 1 year and a half, who has been in the hospital for five days.
Wardah Awad shares: “I’ve displaced from Al Mocha district with my husband and two children.” She added, “My daughter was in good health but with time she started to lose weight so I brought her here and the doctors told me she was suffering from severe acute malnutrition in addition to diarrhea”
“My daughter was sick, but since she came to the hospital for treatment, I started to notice that her condition is improving, as her weight was 5 kilos before and now it is 7 kilos.” Wardah Awad shared. “Medical services are provided free of charge here, and the hospital is distinguished by its cleanliness.”
“Doctors here follow up my daughter’s condition on an ongoing basis and provide her with the necessary treatments.”
